Local tools

Files used in tools marked as local are processed in temporary browser memory and are not uploaded to CntrlLedger. Refreshing or closing the page clears the working session.

AI-assisted tools

When you explicitly consent and start an AI operation, the selected document is transmitted securely to Google Gemini for processing. CntrlLedger does not intentionally store the document or its extracted contents.

Abuse prevention

AI tools use reCAPTCHA Enterprise and a privacy-preserving hash of the connection address to prevent automated abuse and enforce daily limits. Quota records contain a count and expiry time, not document content.

Operational records

Service logs may contain request identifiers, file size, processing duration, token counts, status codes and security events. Prompts, documents, extracted values and filenames are not intentionally written to application logs.

Third parties

Google provides Firebase Hosting, Cloud Run, Firestore, reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Gemini processing. Their processing is governed by the applicable Google service terms and privacy documentation.

Professional confidentiality

Only use documents that you are authorised to process. Consider your professional obligations, client instructions and applicable data-protection requirements before using an AI-assisted feature.
